    • Robin Chambers hooked and reeled me in with the first book in his Myrddin’s Heir series ‘A Wizard of Dreams’ and immediately after finishing it I bought the second, ‘Amazing Grace’, eager to find out what happens next. I can see that this will be the pattern until I have caught up with all Gordon’s adventures in time, outer and inner space, the Land of the Forever Young, and the worlds of fairy, myths and legends. It promises to be a long haul, thank goodness, and I’m looking forwa [...]

    • "A pleasurable fun-fiction read for kids, and definitely a metaphysical question or two for adults!!"Once again Robin Chambers lives up to his reputation for unique and captivating storytelling! I was hooked right from the first chapter. Although this book can be read as a standalone, the storyline is developed from Book One in the ‘Myrddin's Heir’ Series.Gordon and Zack - an exceptionally talented young wizard and his spiritual companion cum alter ego – become involved in a magical series [...]

    • Author, Robin Chambers, has crafted a series of Fantasy/YA books that tell fascinating tales. I was hooked from the first page of Book 1, Wizard of Dreams and found Book 2, Amazing Grace equally riveting.Amazing Grace, picks up where the first book left off, with an extraordinarily gifted child, Gordon entering a new school. This book explores and expands the gifts and special powers Gordon and his newfound friend, Grace possess. Zack and Zoe, the children’s alter-egos, play equally important [...]

    • n Book 2 of the Myrrdin’s Heir series, the story expands to follow four main characters. Of course there’s the Heir himself, eleven year old Gordon, but we also learn more about Grace, whom Gordon meets at the end of Book 1. Also taking center stage are their two ‘non-powered’ classmates Nick and Miranda. We follow these four friends (six if you count invisible friends, Zach and Zoe) through a wild variety of fantasies, dreams, and imagined stories. We also spend time with Gordon’s fath [...]

    • This is book two in the series titled: Myrddin’s Heir. This book is written for young adult readers of between 10 and 12 years old, even though I found the language, not the story, too advanced for the kind of young adults I taught, when I was still teaching. I laughed so hard at the exploits of Gordon, his alter ego, Nick, and Grace, her alter ego, Zoe that my eyes watered. Those four, very smart kids, not ordinary kids, loved adventure, both in their lives and in their studies. Wonderful kid [...]

    • In this second book in the series we continue our journey with the wizardly Gordon and ghostly Zack joined by their distaff parallels Grace and Zoe. Robin Chambers keeps the story-line rooted in modern life while periodically shifting to the world of dreams and other realities which merge together wonderfully. He understands children and teaches with a gentle humor. The literary references can serve to introduce new ideas or inspire one to re-visit old friends (in my case, a book of poems publis [...]

    • Robin Chambers weaves together a magical tale in Amazing Grace: bridging reality, a soft tough of religious question, and the world of the Fae. On the surface, it is a delightful tale guaranteed to catch the attention of any reader that enjoys the aspects of magic and growing up in a story. Watching Gordon and Grace come together then following their adventures held my attention for five straight hours. But there is a deeper level to this wonderful tale and series. Robin skillfully embeds history [...]

    • Amazing Grace continues where A Wizard of Dreams left off. Another child with special abilities is introduced, Grace. And like Gordon, Grace has an invisible friend, Zoe. With the addition of these two characters, the story continues to bloom. There are some darker elements: with Grace's ability to read minds and Zoe's ability to travel into the future, the characters are pulled into situations that feel a bit grittier and more present day than what Gordon had to deal with the first time round. ( [...]

    • In this second book in the series we continue our journey with the unique characters Gorden and Zack, but this time joined by their female parallels Grace and Zoe. We are touched by the parent’s emotions as they face the truth and we come close to one of the many competently tackled issues of the stereotypical teenage delinquents known as ‘hoodies’, showing us a magical way in how we can make this world a better place. There are smashing little extras here such as lessons on how to write a [...]

    • Well Robin Chambers has done it again. I thought book 1 Wizard of Dreams was good. but the second book was better still, where there is more characters brought into the story. We have Grace and Zoe, who have the same magic as Gordon and Zack, and of course there is Nick, there's so many Adventures going on. I can't possibly write them all down. and Gordons mun Edith is worrying how his dad Victor It about Gordons special gifts,as he has to know and being a police man in the police force. makes i [...]

    • We really enjoyed the third book in this series, you can really see the characters growing throughout.A brilliant read and like the first books in the series difficult to put down.My little one loves listening to a chapter at night before bed, and the chapter lengths are perfect for this purpose, they are just long enough that active children who won't sit still for long will gladly listen to a chapter. There is a consistent quality to the authors writing throughout the series and having now fini [...]

    • This book is an excellent read for “kids of all ages”. I found it to be a masterful blend of myth, legend, fantasy, and magic. Book 2 in this series presents a complex story, but one that’s not overly so, as to not take away from the pure entertainment value. I loved the characters, plot, dialog, and storyline. I highly recommend this book and plan to check out more in the series.

    • Book two of the Myrddin's Heir series. Amazing Grace is the next installment in the smart, snappy epic fantasy series. Highly recommended. Like book one, I think this can absolutely be enjoyed by readers of all ages. Excited to get my hands on book three, next.
