    • If you are Presbyterian or a fan of Mayberry, you will enjoy this book. There is romance, a bit of mystery and religion, all of which combine to tell a sweet Southern story. We read this in my church book club based on the subject and the fact that the author is local. The depiction of small town Southern life definitely rang true.

    • I don't claim to be a professional reviewer or even scored well in English class( grammar, literature, spelling), just an avid reader. Either the publisher messed up or the author or kindle. Because two of this author's books are listed as the #4 in the series. I just bought five of the books and didn't pay attention before I started reading them that this was a series of books. I read Sweet Tea Quilting Bee first and then Sweet Tea and Southern Grace. After reading them I found that the Quiltin [...]

    • I started reading this book, then put it down for a month or two before remembering I hadn't finished it. This is a somewhat predictable book, but I was a little surprised by one of the solutions. I liked that, even though this is a Christian book, it wasn't "preachy". Ms. Manus' characters talked, for the most part, just like true southerners.

    • Quaint storyI would recommend this story to Jan Karon readers. I loved the story line . Sometimes there is a little too much description. I wanted to hurry into the plot. I look forward to the next book in the series.

    • Southern tooI found this book to be refreshing with it's southern characters and their spirit of love, forgiveness, and giving. As I too am a Southern woman, the characters were easily relatable and the vernacular was easy to follow.

    • Lighthearted quick readI liked the character developments and the imagery in the environment. Feel that I could fit into a house in Park Place. No surprises but story flowed nicely.

    • EnjoyableThis book started slow and at first I wasn't sure if I would finish it. The characters and the storyline kept drawing me back. All in all it was a nice read.

    • Good Christian fiction set in a small South Carolina town. Includes a little mystery, romance and small town characters. I have already started book 2!

    • I love the books! starting with the first book. I love all the characters and the scriptures that spoke to me. I love the series and I am on Book three of the series.

    • This was a great story. It is a Christian novel, and while it focuses on relationships (family, friends and romantic), it does not have sex in it. It is very refreshing to pick up a book knowing it is not filled with smut. The 2nd book, Lighting the Way, is even better than this one, which is rare for sequels.

    • Good Christian love StoryStick with this book series. I was not that into this book. Never the less, I read the next two books in the series and was so glad I did. I took away some great advice and by the end of the series I re-learned some valuable life lessons! So glad I stuck with this series.

    • Enjoyablewasn't sure about this bookever once I started it I could not put it downaracters are real and their lives come alive real suspense or action just life butt was good. however now, the ending was disappointing.ough a great end there was a gap and the. a summary of what happened next

    • A perfect read.A wonderful well written story about Southern ways and the close knit families that live in the small towns. Not jaded and very refreshing. Enough twist and turns to keep you turning the pages. Glenda Manus is magical.

    • I liked itI liked itthis book is certainly worth reading but it is not the most entertaining book I have read. The multitude of characters and side stories don't really carry the book.

    • Sweet tea and Southern GraceFair reading. Not really sure, but I found it lagging and I had trouble findings enough to keep me reading

    • Awesome story with a lot of twistsI was definitely surprised on the story, one min. we are focused on a certain person and the off on another direction. Great read.
